Research an Nutritional Status of Working Girl Students in the Factory

Abstract
|
|
|
This survey was conducted from 7.18. to 7.31, 1986, for the purpose of accessing the nutritional status and to give more helpful management to them, through applying physical examination & food intake amoznt survey, forwards a number of 516 working girl studants and a number of 367 general women workers employed in one factory. The major findings of this study were as follows.
1) Below 20 years groups were o.6-1.2cm lower than height and 0.3-2kg higher than weight for age of the Korean standars.
2) The mean values of Hb. & Hct. were 12.2 ± 1.Og/100ml, 36.6 ± 3.2% the anemic prevalences were 34.3%.
3) The total intake of vegetable food was consisted 92% animal food was consisted of 8 % and CPF ratio was 68:14:18. Animal protein intake ratio was 24.2% of total protein. The intake of all nutrients were higher than of RDA & standard of school nutrition except Calorie, Calcium and Iron.
